Air Liquide’s SPAL technology implemented

SPAL technology provides metal and alloy produces with the facility for improved metal cleanliness through creating a barrier of inert gas, most notably Argon or Nitrogen, between the molten metal and the surrounding atmosphere. Surface protection technology prevents oxidation of the metal or contact with atmospheric moisture allowing the production of cleaner metals and hence higher quality and increased production yields.
