The ever-evolving electronics industry was under the spotlight at the recent SEMICON Europa 2008 show in Germany, as industry insiders and an array of leading companies gathered for a full programme of events.
Converging in Stuttgart from 7th – 9th October, exhibitors, presenters and electronics industry organisations came together to both discuss and showcase the latest in technology advances.
The global electronics industry continues to evolve as semiconductor and thin-film transistor liquid crystal display (TFT-LCD) manufacturers work to supply consumers with the smaller, faster and more powerful electronics devices they demand.
Such evolution was evident at the annual event as a range of companies demonstrated their capabilities and commitment to the electronics cause. Exhibitors included Applied Materials, Altatech Semiconductor, Parker Hannifin, Tiger Optics, Varian Inc, and the European Photovoltaic Industry Association, among many others.
