Air Products will install and furnish a plant to supply liquid nitrogen for NASAs National Transonic facility.
The company will produce liquid nitrogen for the national transonic facility, a cryogenic wind tunnel located at NASAs Langley research centre in Hampton, US.
The $16m firm-fixed contract will enable Air Products to deliver 50,000 tons of liquid nitrogen. Contract services for the two year arrangement include all materials, labour, engineering services, inspection, testing, documentation and training.
