Air Products earns spot on the CDP S&P 500 Climate Disclosure Leadership Index

Air Products has again earned a place on the CDP S&P 500 Climate Disclosure Leadership Index (CDLI) for transparent and quality disclosure of climate-related information.

The CDLI includes the top 10 percent of reporting companies scored on a scale of 100 for completeness of reported information and carbon emissions and energy data quality. For 2015, Air Products received a disclosure score of 100 percent and was graded a B on emissions performance.

“Air Products has participated in every CDP request for climate strategy information since its inception,” noted Joe Pietrantonio, Vice President, Environment, Health, Safety & Quality and chair of the company’s Sustainability Leadership Council. “We believe in openly sharing data, as evidenced by our 100 percent disclosure score and using that data to drive improvements for our customers and for our company.”

CDP works with 822 institutional investors, representing more than $95 trillion in assets, providing the world’s only global system for companies and cities to measure, disclose, manage, and share vital environmental information.
