The North American industrial gas conglomerate, Air Products, has signed a supply contract with TechPack Solutions in Korea.
According to the agreement, Air Products will provide its Cleanfire® HRiTM oxy-fuel burners and flow control skid, as well as its Prism® vacuum swing adsorption (VSA) unit. All installations are designed to reduce emissions while improving energy efficiency and productivity in container and tableware glass production.
According to Air Products, the oxy-fuel technology brings benefits including over 80% reduction in nitrogen oxide emissions, about 25% increase in productivity, reduction of capitals, 25-60% energy savings and improvement in efficiency and glass quality.
