Air Products has announced plans to increase prices of its functional additives.
The price rise will be effective from 15th January 2011, or as contracts allow. Products to be effected by the price rise will include Tomamine® surfactant, Tomadry™ surfactant and Tomadyne™ surfactant by six cents per pound.
In addition, the North American firm is set to increase the price of its Tomadol® surfactant, Nonidet® surfactant and Nonatell® surfactant by three cents per pound.
Air Products justified the alteration as necessary due to escalating raw material costs.
