Air Products’ newest hydrogen fuelling station in Riverside, California was busy filling hydrogen converted vehicles as the City of Riverside held a dedication ceremony officially declaring the station open.
It is the second hydrogen fuelling station Air Products has opened within a week as a station in Santa Ana, Calif. was dedicated on Jan. 26. These two stations are part of a five-city hydrogen fuelling alternative energy demonstration program being implemented by the South Coast Air Quality Management District (AQMD).
The respective cities involved will use Air Products’ fuelling technology to fuel electric hybrid Toyota Prius® vehicles converted to be hydrogen capable by Quantum Technologies.
