Air Products’ PRISM® VSA Oxygen Generation System has begun supplying an Ontario steel facility with over 200 tpd of oxygen.
Having successfully won a supply contract with Gerdau Steel, Air Products has begun providing 200 tons per day of oxygen for its Whitby located plant in Canada. In addition, the firm will also be supplying liquid nitrogen. According to the North American industrial gas firm, Air Products won the contract thanks to the versatility of the PRISM system.
