It’s been revealed that Air Products has chosen to utilise a satellite tracking service for the optimisation and effective management of its packaged gases delivery network in the UK and Ireland.
Air Products has chosen Masternaut Three X to supply a web-based satellite tracking solution for its UK and Ireland cylinder gas business.
Following a successful trial of the Masternaut real-time service, the company has rolled out the solution to its delivery fleet. It’s anticipated that the service will enable Air Products to optimise its route planning and provide a highly secure, fully automatic seamless lone-worker safety system.
The company’s packaged gases business uses a specially developed routing and scheduling programme to manage its delivery fleet. Air Products will cross-reference the Masternaut live information with the routing and scheduling software to enable it to optimise the management of the fleet.
