Air Products San Fu, a subsidiary of Air Products, recently sponsored the welding contests at the 46th Vocational Skills Competition and the jointly held 44th WorldSkills Competition Team Selection Contest.
The company will also sponsor the shielding gases used during the one-year training of Taiwan’s representatives for the 44th WorldSkills Competition.
This is the third consecutive year for Air Products San Fu to sponsor the welding contests and contestants’ training.
Organised annually by Taiwan’s Ministry of Labour since 1968, the Vocational Skills Competition is the biggest vocational skills development and education event in Taiwan. This year’s competition took place from 9th – 13th August, with over 700 participants competing in 47 categories, including welding.
