Air Products supports Da Vinci Science Centre student STEM programs

The Da Vinci Science Centres has received a $20,000 grant from the Air Products Foundation in support of two programmes created to engage students in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM).

Titled Women in Science and Engineering and The Science Enquiry Fund, the two programmes represent the centre’s commitment to connecting marginalised students to greater opportunities for STEM education and potential careers.

Commenting on the grant, Laurie Hackett, Community Relations at Air Products, said, “This grant is an investment in the work the Da Vinci Science centre does around STEM education and outreach to ensure that underrepresented students have access to outstanding learning and networking experiences that could potentially lead to careers in STEM fields.”

“This work is strongly aligned with the Air Products Foundation’s mission to support organisations that are focused on building stronger, more equitable communities, and that starts with engaging our young people.”
