In 2012, Air Products confirmed its decision to sell its Homecare business in the UK. Since then, Air Products has been looking for a suitable buyer and this was completed at the end of last year.
From 1st December 2013, Baywater Healthcare took over the operations of Air Products Homecare. The new organisation is headed up by Baywater General Manager, Adam Sullivan, who takes up the role of Chief Executive, supported by former Air Products Homecare management team members.
An Air Products spokesman said, “Air Products had previously publicly discussed its decision to explore options for its Homecare business operations in the UK and Ireland, following the divestiture of its Continental European Homecare business in 2012.”
“Air Products has now sold all of its homecare business interests in the UK and Ireland. The new business, known as Baywater Healthcare has been established by Duke Street, a long standing investor in mature, pan-European businesses, with considerable experience in Healthcare. Terms of the deal are not being disclosed.”
