Air Water Thailand is expanding its NV treatment (hardening of metal surfaces using nitrogen) business for the automotive sector.
The company say that they are mainly engaged in the nitriding of engine vales for automobiles and they expect to expand their business in Amata Nakorn Industrial Park where 80 percent of the companies operating there are Japanese.
The NV nitriding process is a process in which surface treatment (fluorination treatment) and the gas nitriding process are combined. Only Air Water owns a patent for this technology among gas producers.
Mr Shinichi Yagishashi, manager of the NV business department at Air Water said: $quot;We have used the know how we had been cultivating to offer a total process of in-house production and treatment services on consignment.$quot;
