Airgas, the largest US distributor of industrial, medical and specialty gases and related products, has announced further growth of the company with the acquisition of the assets and operations of safety products distributor Dantack Corp.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed, but Texas-based Dantack will be managed by Airgas Southwest as a stand-alone business for the first few months and it is thought that its operations in Ohio and Virginia will later integrate to other Airgas regions.
Meanwhile, the Radnor-based company has also announced it will hold its 2007 analyst meeting on 6th September 2007 in Philadelphia.
Speakers will include Airgas chairman and CEO Peter McCausland, executive vice president and COO Mike Molinini and senior vice president and CFO, Mike Rohde. A webcast of the presentation, which is expected to last for around 3 hours, will be available live and on-demand.
