Airgas participated for the first time in the Biotechnology Industry Organization’s annual international convention, BIO 2005.
The company’s appearance came not long after its announcement in February that it had been selected as the preferred supplier of packaged gases for Business Solutions Group of BIO, a trade organization that represents 1000 biotechnology companies, academic institutions, state biotechnology centres and related organizations.
It was a perfect opportunity for us to participate in BIO’s Business Solutions pavilion and introduce ourselves to the life sciences audience said spokesman Jim Ely, from the company’s headquarters in Radnor.
Following the company’s strong position in the medical supplies field, Airgas’ presence, for the first time in its 23 year history, as an exhibitor was not out of place with the event itself.
