Airgas President Glenn M. Fischer Resigns

On Friday 14th January, Glenn M. Fischer resigned as President and Chief Operating Officer of Airgas.

The former president of BOC North America joined Airgas on October 9th 2000, and was formally named president and COO on November 1st, succeeding William A. Rice, Jr. who has announced his retirement plans.

Glenn made valuable contributions to our organizational structure, discipline and performance, said Peter McCausland, Airgas chairman and chief executive officer. He contributed to the team effort which has put Airgas in a position to continue to grow and successfully execute its strategy. I wish him continued success.

Molinini who has been with Airgas for the past 8 years, has more then 32 years of experience in the industrial, medical, and speciality gas and related hardgoods business, including 19 years with the Linde Division of Union Carbide Coporation.
