Aker Carbon Capture and SINTEF have joined forces to develop cost-effective carbon capture solutions.
Confirming the news today (4th May), the duo said they will collaborate on several research and development projects, ranging from membrane technology, hydrogen applications and testing higher capture rates.
To solidify the above efforts, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed.
Prior to today’s announcement, Aker Carbon Capture and SINTEF have collaborated on carbon capture and storage (CCS) development for more than a decade including the development of an HSE-friendly amine solution.
