Aker Carbon Capture, SINTEF to advance carbon capture solutions

Aker Carbon Capture and SINTEF have joined forces to develop cost-effective carbon capture solutions.

Confirming the news today (4^th May), the duo said they will collaborate on several research and development projects, ranging from membrane technology, hydrogen applications and testing higher capture rates.

To solidify the above efforts, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed. 

Prior to today’s announcement, Aker Carbon Capture and SINTEF have collaborated on carbon capture and storage (CCS) development for more than a decade including the development of an HSE-friendly amine solution.
