UK energy companies SSE Thermal and Equinor have selected a consortium of companies to develop Keadby 3 Carbon Capture Power Station (Keadby 3), with Aker Carbon Capture (Aker) chosen as the carbon capture provider.
Having been awarded the FEED contract for the gas-to-power plant, the consortium and Aker will spend the next 12 months coming up with a detailed plan for the proposed 910MW (megawatt) plant.
