AMCS Corporation announced this September that it had entered into an agreement to supply the Caspian Sea Oil Fleet of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR), one of the world’s largest oil producers, with a cryogenic air separation plant (ASU).
The new ASU will be an ULTRA–ML-120TM, one of the ULTRATM series of highly efficient standard plants featuring AMCS’ latest process cycle design, and offering attractively low life cycle costs and simplicity of operation.
SOCAR is one of the world’s largest oil producers and the ASU design provides an extremely flexible and reliable supply of gases throughout SOCAR’s demanding consumption pattern.
“We are very pleased to be providing this facility for SOCAR’s Caspian Sea Oil Fleet, the supplier to all the Azerbaijan oil and gas production operations in the Caspian Sea,” said Ishmael Chalabi, President of AMCS, via a company press release.
