Carmaker, BMW will be offering 20-30 hydrogen-fueled vehicles to ‘worthy’ members of the United States in the spring.
The most expensive production-ready BMW in the world, valued at about half a million dollars, will be offered as a prototype to entrusted politicians, scientists, business leaders, media members or celebrities.
A total of 100 hydrogen-fueled sedans will be distributed worldwide to countries in Europe and Asia in addition to the US.
BMW hope to start selling hydrogen powered 7 series sedans in the US by 2020.
