A cutting-edge product range of tunable diode laser (TDL) based gas and moisture analysers is to be exhibited by SpectraSensors Inc. at the upcoming ISA South America Show on automation systems and instrumentation to be held at Sao Paulo, Brazil.
The SpectraSensors line will be represented at the SGA Show by its local distributor, Pensalab Equipamentos Industriais Ltda, including advanced solutions such as the SpectraSensors SS2000 Moisture/Carbon Dioxide and Hydrogen Sulfide Analysers, an extremely reliable extractive sensor using SpectraSensors’ line-spectroscopy technology.
Developed by SpectraSensors, a spin-off of NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory, the TDL based analyzers offer fast and reliable readings that overcome such industry problems as frequent and costly sensor maintenance and high processing costs due to false readings.
The sensor measures concentrations using an IR laser and special software and electronics to determine the concentration of gas without coming into physical contact with the gas.
