Senior Executive Vice-President Pierre Dufour of the Paris-based Air Liquide Group, the leading global provider of industrial, medical and specialty gases, has announce that the company has appointed Luc Doyon to the position of Chief Executive Officer of its Canadian subsidiary.
One of the oldest subsidiaries of the Air Liquide Group, Air Liquide Canada has accompanied the growth of the Canadian economy for close to a century and is purported to have built an enviable leadership position. The company continues to be a pacesetter in many cutting-edge initiatives, such as its commitment to being a key participant in helping build Canada’s hydrogen energy infrastructure.
To lead Air Liquide Canada through these exciting developments, Doyon adds the title of CEO to his existing executive responsibilities. The new Chief Executive, formerly holding only the position of President and Chief Operating Officer of Air Liquide Canada, brings a wealth of expertise to his new role after more than 20 years with the organization across North America.
For close to a decade, Doyon held senior management and executive positions at Air Liquide America Corporation in the United States and soon after returning to Air Liquide Canada, was appointed President and Chief Operating Officer, offices he has held for close to 5 years.
