The UK based company, Weldability-SIF has extended its range of Sifbronze copper coated wire to accommodate robot welding applications. In addition, the firm has also appointed a new Marketing Manager.
The SIFMIG SG2 copper coated double deoxidised 0,8mm, 1.0mm and 1.2mm diameter MIG welding wires now come in 250kg bulk drums – designed specifically for semi-automated and fully-automated robotic MIG welding applications.
According to Weldability, welding wire supplied in drums helps fabricators to reduce wire-change over frequencies by up to 16 times. SIFMIG SG2 is a CE certified DIN EN 13479:03.2005 standard MIG welding wire that is manufactured with a high quality copper finish for smooth feeding. It is marketed towards fabricators welding unalloyed, low alloyed mild and medium tensile steels used in general fabrication, construction steelwork, tank and boiler fabrication, repair and automotive body applications.
Earlier this week the firm also publicised Steve Purnell’s appointment to Marketing Manager. Purnell will be responsible for the marketing of all Weldability and SIF branded welding products.
