Atlas Copco has completed the acquisition of MEDGAS-Technik GmbH, a manufacturer, distributor, installer and service provider of medical air and medical vacuum systems, pipeline equipment and medical supplies.
Headquartered in Berndroth, Germany, MEDGAS has approximately 80 employees and operates from offices in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
MEDGAS will now become part of the Medical Gas Solutions division in the Compressor Technique business area.
The purchase price was not disclosed.
