Atlas Copco is expanding its footprint in the North American market, having today (2nd Nov) announced its acquisition of Aircel.
Based in Tennessee, Aircel is a provider of air treatment and purification equipment, such as desiccant and refrigerant dryers, filtration, and condensate equipment.
Vagner Rego, Business Area President of Atlas Copco’s Compressor Technique business area, said, “Aircel is a reputable company in the air treatment and air purification market, which makes it a good fit for us.”
Rego also recognised the added expertise and product portfolio Aircel will bring to Atlas Copco as it looks to further accelerate its business development in North America.
