Atlas Copco USA’s employee-driven Water for All programme is providing the state of Texas with fresh, clean drinking water in partnership with Can’d Aid.
The industrial tools and equipment manufacturer last week (19th Feb) confirmed its efforts in response to the recent ice and snowstorms in the state that have caused widespread power outages.
Can’d Aid will use the $13,000 donation from Atlas Copco to send 50,400 cans to Texans in need within the Houston and Austin areas.
A truckload of 50,400 cans will support approximately 8,400 individuals or 2,100 families.
