Gas exploration specialist Avanti Helium has finished the drilling phase of its appraisal well on the Greater Knappen project, located in Montana.
Named WNG 10-21, the well encountered helium bearing gas in both the Sours River and Flathead zones.
Cam Buss, Vice-President of Operations at Avanti Helium, said the team are very encouraged with the helium shows and the well’s potential.
He said, “Completions will help us to further understand the reservoir size and deliverability for future centralised production facility design for the WNG helium pool.”
