Awards handed out for excellent supply and service

Air Liquide has announced the winners of its 2007 Electronic Specialty Gases raw material supplier awards, recognising the ‘exceptional performance’ and services provided to the company throughout the year.

Constant technology breakthroughs and increasing pressure on cost control have made the electronics industry one of the most competitive industrial sectors, with Air Liquide Electronics Supplier Management Program ensuring that demanding criteria are respected.

This year’s awards acknowledge suppliers whose contributions consistently deliver excellent service, value, and continuously improve quality and productivity, with Air Liquide honouring companies through a wide range of categories. Linggas Ltd of China has been recognised as Best New Supplier, Norway’s REC Group won the award for Consistent Quality and the Ulsan Chemical Co. Ltd of South Korea was named as Most Competitive supplier. In terms of Best Service, this award has been bestowed upon SODIFF Advanced Materials Co. Ltd, while Air Liquide named DENAL Silane Co. Ltd of Japan as its overall Supplier of the Year.

During the presentation of Supplier Awards in Taipei, Christophe Fontaine, Vice-President Electronics of Air Liquide declared, “These suppliers have shown exceptional performance and are crucial to our ability to deliver and service Air Liquide products in a timely and cost-efficient manner. The strong partnerships we are building with them are a real asset, enabling us to meet and even exceed customers’ expectations.”
