Swiss renewable energy producer Axpo is opening a new LNG-focused branch in Singapore to strengthen its presence in the Asian market.
Under a new subsidiary, Axpo Singapore, headed up by Sophie Ducoloner, the branch will open at the end of 2020.
Axpo has held a leading position in Europe for the past 20 years and has been operating successfully in the US since 2016.
“There is a strong demand for energy in general and for LNG in particular in Asia,” said Domenico De Luca, Head of Trading & Sales at Axpo.
