The new Chairman and CEO of Air Products, Seifi Ghasemi, has stated his aim to make the company the “best in the world”.
The company posted two separate videos on its website, by means of introducing both customers and staff to the new man who leads the company since former CEO John McGlade retired from the post on June 30th.
In a statement, Mr. Ghasemi stated he has an “intimate” knowledge of the industrial gases sector – having over 20 years experience in it, and nine months serving on the Board of Directors.
“Whether you buy a cylinder or 2000tpd (of gas) it is important that you know you are buying from a company that you can depend on to deliver what you need in a safe a sustainable way,” Mr. Ghasemi stated, adding “Our goal is to make Air Products the supplier of choice for you. This will take dedication and effort and I assure you I will work 24 hours a day 7 days a week to make this happen.”
