BOC will demonstrate its range of affordable inverter welders and plasma cutters on stand 4222 during National Manufacturing Week 2007.
Their stand at the Melbourne Exhibition & Convention Centre, from May 22 to 25, will showcase their series of welders and plasma cutters that bring inverter technology within the price range of even the occasional user. Their technology includes a new generation of MagMATE welding solutions, as well as MMA welders and plasma cutters, under the Smootharc and Smoothcut brands. The MagMATE welding solution and MMA welders and plasma cutters comes in a range of sizes suitable for use in a variety of settings.
The MagMATE Pro welder is available in three sizes, starting with the 180. At 30 kgs, it is less than half the size of the previous model. The MagMATE Pro 250, is the large one in the series, is more suitable for light to medium production. All the models include voltage and amperage meters, electronic wire shaping and wire feed speed controls.
The new range also includes two Manual Metal Arc (MMA) welding machines, the BOC Smootharc MMA 130 (weighing 5.5 kg) and 170 (weighing 8 kg) are portable. The products also offer high duty cycles that allow users to weld with a wider and thicker range of consumables.
