BOC Canada has secured a supply contract at Canadian Natural Resources Limited’s Horizon oil sands project in western Canada.
BOC will supply Canadian Natural with packaged gases and materials needed for welding and constructing the massive infrastructure required to extract the oil.
Once the project, located some 80 km northeast of Fort McMurray, AB, begins producing sweet, synthetic crude oil, BOC will be well positioned to continue supplying gases during the operations phase.
BOC will initially supply the Horizon Project with its gas and equipment requirements from its Fort McMurray branch. Later, as demand volumes increase with the start of production, BOC will create an on-site presence, which will include a warehouse, dedicated staff and vehicles.
