BOC has teamed up with fuel gas supplier Calor to provide a range of patio equipment to boost pub sales from outdoor dining. The extended range include top of the range heaters and barbecues.
The original range launched in 2004 has been extended to help boost customers’ turnover and to meet the growing demand in the trade for safe, high quality patio equipment.
According to BOC Sureflow, exploiting the trend for outdoor dining on cooler evenings could increase pub and restaurant sales as much as 25 per cent.
Paul Porter, landlord of the Fox Inn, Oxfordshire, said: “Installing patio heaters has made a real difference to our business with customers now definitely drawn to our outdoor dining area.
