BOC wins CO2 contract in Thailand

BOC strengthens their position in Thailand with new CO2 supply contract.

BOC has won a $2 million dollar contract to supply the poultry-processing arm of the GFTP Group in Samuthprakarn, Tahiland with liquid carbon dioxide.

GFTP is the main supplier of raw chicken to McKay Food Services Ltd. a joint venture between Keystone Food Corporation and GFPT in Thailand. McKay then sells fully processed chicken to fast-food retailers in the Asia-Pacific region.

The multi-year contract comes as several other BOC CO2 successes in Asia. BOC have contracts with a seafood processing plant in Thailand to install a proprietary freezer an International Society of Beverage Technology (ISBP) compliant CO2 production facility in Pakistan and, several long term supply agreements with several Pakistani bottlers.
