The annual Cryogen-Expo held in Moscow last week saw a record number of exhibitors and visitors, said the organizing committee of Mir-Expo.
The event was the fifth one in the series offering national and international companies an opportunity to establish new business contacts, develop cryogenic engineering and apply cryogenic technologies in different industries such as medical.
Spokesperson for the expo said: The exhibition is highly appreciated by specialists and the event reflects the state of affairs and prospect of development in the field of cryogenics. Hence, the total number of participants increased by 30 per cent.
On display were nearly all the cryogenic equipment on the market including: refrigeration, cryo-thermo-vacuums, air-fractioning units, air separating installations, heat-exchanges, pumps and compressors, tanks, storage and transportation of liquid natural gas. The exhibitors also showcased some of the latest technologies involving the production and usage of rare gases and achievements in the field of cryomedicine.
