Breaking out – An afternoon update

Speeches from Bestobell LNG’s Andrew Brown, Spiritus Consulting’s John Raquet and Cryostar’s Phillippe Fauvel have all concluded a busy morning plenary session on day two of the gasworld conference, complemented by a conference round-up, a lunch sponsored by the ROC Group and the afternoon’s insightful breakout sessions.

Andrew Brown, company director of Bestobell LNG and Bestobell Valves, took to the lecturn later this morning to discuss LNG as an interest to industrial gas companies, aptly followed up by a presentation about the LNG supply chain by Phillipe Fauvel – assistant director for the distribution line and business manager for Cryostar Automation.

Fauvel explored Cryostar’s LNG vision for a complete supply chain for natural gas, from production sites to customers and explaining why LNG is the ideal solution to cater for this requirement.

Giving an opportunity to a number of key industry leaders, the afternoon’s breakout sessions are currently taking place and providing a platform for informed debate. Having heard from Michael Blondin, in charge of worldwide sales for Cryolor of France, guests have been presented with an overview of trends in safety regarding cryogenic trailers. Indeed, the theme throughout the first session in the auditorium focused on cryogenic containment, with speeches from Keith Stewart of Herose and Jan Van Houwenhove, of sales and marketing for VRV.
