Butler Gas Products (BGP), a manufacturer and distributor of packaged gases, received the Fleet Safety Award for 2015 at the Compressed Gas Association’s (CGA’s) annual award ceremony.
After comparing safety data across companies in the industry over a three-year period, the acknowledgement was given for the lowest total moving accident rate in the cylinder gases distribution sector.
The US-based corporation’s President and CEO, Jack Butler, accepted the award at the CGA Annual Meeting Safety Awards Banquet, held on 26th April 2016.
Butler enthused, “Our first question that demands a ‘yes’ is always: Is it safe? All our distribution professionals, safety committee members, strategic leaders, and all BGP associates made this award happen. This is a very big deal and I am very proud of our team.”
