CarbonCure’s Executive Vice-President is among 22 recipients from six continents to be recognised for her role in “taking ambition to the next level” as part of this week’s Global Climate Action Summit in San Francisco.
Jennifer Wagner has been named a Climate Trailblazer, a set of diverse leaders who are stepping up to tackle ambitious climate challenges in one of the Summit’s five focus areas: Healthy Energy Systems, Inclusive Economic Growth, Sustainable Communities, Land and Ocean Stewardship and Transformative Climate Investments.
Wagner was recognised for her efforts leading CarbonCure’s team on its mission to reduce the carbon footprint of the built environment, including its participation as a finalist in the $20m NRG COSIA Carbon XPRIZE Challenge. Wagner is the only female team lead among the 10 remaining XPRIZE finalists.
