CarbonFree has joined forces with engineering construction company Flour to help manufacturer its carbon-to-value technology.
Dubbed SkyCycle™, CarbonFree’s technology captures the carbon emitted by industrial plants and mineralises emissions to create safe and valuable low carbon materials.
With its technology, the company wants to capture 10% of the world’s industrial CO2.
To achieve this goal, the technology will use calcium and magnesium salts as a key part of the conversion chemistry to produce high purity precipitated calcium carbonate, a synthetic limestone.
