Industrial and medical gases company Carburos Metálicos, part of the Air Products group, has played its part in a test undertaken with the City Council of Zaragoza, in Spain, which studied the circulation and refuelling of a hydrogen-powered bus.

The renewably sourced hydrogen was produced at a plant that uses a Guarantees of Origin (GdO) programme to verify its renewable origins.
During the ten-day test, the bus transported 972 passengers a total of 1,601 km (995 miles) between the centre of Zaragoza to its airport terminal.
