It’s becoming more and more common to hear about the Internet of Things (IoT), a proposed development of the internet in which everyday objects have the power to send and receive data through network connectivity.
According to The Cavagna Group, it is estimated that more than 75 billion IoT devices will be connected by 2025, and these devices will become smarter, more reliable and more protected thanks to new telecommunications systems (5G) and new ways of managing and storing data.
The Italian-based company has recently expanded its unit dedicated to the Internet of Things in order to better develop IoT projects as well as monitor current and future applications (planned for the coming months).
