CCSA hits major milestone after reaching 100 members

Leading carbon capture authority the Carbon Capture and Storage Association (CCSA) has reached 100 members, its highest membership level since the association was established in 2005.

The organisation has seen rapid growth in membership in the last few years due to the increase in popularity of carbon capture, utilisation and storage (CCUS) initiatives to decarbonise industrial processes.

The announcement comes after Subsea7 and GaffneyCline joined the association, joining a membership roster that includes MVV UK, Ingersoll Rand, MOL Group, SGN, Sumitomo and Petrostat.

According to the CCSA, its membership has more than doubled in the past two years and new members span a variety of sectors and applications including carbon dioxide (CO2) storage, carbon capture technology developers, power and industrial, engineering and equipment, distribution and financial consulting.
