A report was published today by the UK’s trade body for the Carbon Capture, Utilisation and Storage (CCUS) industry, the Carbon Capture and Storage Association (CCSA).
The report focuses on achieving a successful CCUS rollout programme through development of UK supply chains, in line with the UK’s net-zero ambitions.
Entitled “Supply Chain Excellence for CCUS”, experts from almost 50 organisations contributed to the development of the report.
It sets out five key recommendations to take forward the development of supportive supply chain strategies including forming a cluster-oriented approach. This approach will allow clusters to work with industry and mobilise a cross-industry team to build on the report and develop supportive supply chain strategies for the CCUS industry.
