Minnesota-based welding and industrial gas distributor Central McGowan Inc. (CMI) has announced the opening of a new 12,000 sq. ft. automation manufacturing facility adjacent to its headquarters in St. Cloud.
CMI has a long history of selling and supporting robotic welding automation to its customers in central Minnesota.
The new facility, combined with the acquisition of Pro-Fect Automation earlier this year, expands the company’s automation offering to include Fanuc authorised system integrator status, fully engineered specialty hard automation and robotic automation systems.
Staff and equipment from the acquisition of Pro-Fect Automation have now moved to the St. Cloud facility.
