Ceylon Oxygen Limited (COL), a subsidiary of Tier One player The Linde Group, has won the ‘Transport Sector Safety’ award at The National Occupational Safety & Health Excellence Awards 2016 held recently in Colombo, Sri Lanka.
The award recognises the inculcation of a safety culture within the industry and the workforce whilst promoting productivity and minimising occupational injuries.
COL is the leading industrial and medical gas supplier in Sri Lanka and operates the largest distribution fleet of tankers to deliver liquid and compressed gases in cylinders. In total, the company travels around 100,000kms each month delivering gases.
