Kevin Mathews, President of GenOx Transportation, Inc., recently accepted the Fleet Safety Excellence award for bulk transportation from the Compressed Gas Association (CGA) for the second successive year.
The award, based on CGA’s member company’s total vehicle accident frequency rate, recognises outstanding safety performance among the industry’s bulk and cylinder truck delivery fleets.
In accepting the award, Mathews stated, “This award is humbling and very rewarding because of the effort our team has put into building a culture of safety. The safety of our drivers and the safe transport of products are our number one priority. There is nothing more important.”
Founded in 2001 to provide safe, reliable and on-time transportation services to the industrial gas industry, GenOx invests heavily in the safety and comfort of its drivers. This focus has resulted in a current driver waiting list of 80 safe and experienced drivers who have been waiting – and wanting – to work for GenOx over the past two years.
