Chart and CarbonCure collaborate on CO2 storage and transportation

Chart Industries and Carbon Cure have today (1st Nov) struck a deal to advance carbon dioxide (CO2) storage and transportation equipment for the concrete industry.

The two companies will together pursue opportunities for both Chart’s cryogenic CO2 microbulk storage tanks to support CarbonCure’s range of carbon removal technologies.

Canada-based CarbonCure’s mission is to reduce and remove 500 million metric tonnes of CO2 from the air by 2030, with a long-term vision to support the complete decarbonisation of concrete.

Chart will now support CarbonCure’s mission with the deployment of cryogenic trailers that will transport liquid CO2 to the concrete plants of CarbonCure’s concrete producer partners.
