Chart Energy & Chemicals has executed the lease of a 100,000 plus square foot facility located on 21 acres, in Houston, Texas.
The facility is located on Greens Bayou and has direct access to the Houston ship channel. With 85ft hook height in the main building, Chart E&C will have the capability of constructing the largest cold boxes and modules indoor.
John Romain, president of Chart E&C, said: “The additional capacity at the Greens Bayou facility is intended to assure Charts customers of the continued level of supply necessary to meet their demands. The Greens Bayou expansion compliments the existing 97,000 square foot, 20 acre cold box facilities located in New Iberia, Louisiana by allowing us to fabricate the largest of our cold boxes indoors and still load conveniently to large ocean-going vessels.”
He continued: “Chart is committed to exceeding its customers expectations in the growing LNG and natural gas processing industries.”
