Equipment manufacturer Chart has commenced delivery of its first batch of cryogenic storage infrastructure to a new liquefied natural gas (LNG) terminal in Lithuania.
Chart’s primary role in the project will see it deliver five HT1000 cryogenic storage tanks, two truck loading bays, one LNG bunkering jetty and a regasification plant to the AB Klaipėdos Nafta port.
In the first stage of the venture, Chart has shipped three cryogenic storage tanks from its Chart Ferox facility in the Czech Republic which are currently en-route to the port in Lithuania. Two more are expected to follow later this year.
