Installation of the first equipment to liquefy natural gas at the Calcasieu Pass LNG facility is currently under construction in Cameron Parish, Louisiana.
Venture Global LNG has said that it has received and begun setting in place two Chart Industries brazed aluminium heat exchangers, which are the first of eighteen cold boxes that will be part of the Calcasieu Pass LNG liquefaction process system.
Made in the US, the cold boxes were delivered more than four months ahead of schedule and approximately ten months after the project’s final investment decision.
